horrors Bossarino (Vado Ligure): a cat colony, in an awful state!
A rectangular white card, affixed to a container of corrugated metal, drawn on with a nose of a cat indicates that there is, or rather there should be a free cat colony, but there is the horror: I have personally seen the dirt, the lack of even elementary hygiene, stinking water even running in a container where the cats, about thirty of which some pregnant women should drink a lot of containers, which once may have contained food, dirty dirty and piled in a corner, brambles and weeds everywhere, piled up a rag soaked and rotten, and finally announced crazy from the stench, the top of the top horror, the carcass of a poor black cat, covered in rotting and full of maggots from the flies, which occupies the center of the esplanade where there should be free cattery.
there are other cats around, someone seems in good condition, others have their eyes bled, apparently not in good health. The food is absolutely absent, the containers are empty and terribly dirty. An elderly man who maintains a flock of sheep next to them, tells me that once a lady came in to feed the cats, but now you do not see any more, and then the poor animals are starving blacker.
springs to mind some questions: ENPA, which by statute should deal of these situations, it is aware of this and especially cats can pay the state in which these poor animals? Because no one intervenes, ASL or municipal police of Vado Ligure to remove the carcass, probably infected that stands in the middle of the square? ENPA Why not send a delegate to bring, at least occasionally, the food in these cats? All these questions arise in my mind, when I stretch some tin to these unfortunate cats who eat hungry.
Meanwhile, nobody gives a damn ...
